2N NetStar

anormalPBXandVoIPsoftswitchandfullyconnectsservices.Itenablesanumberof

devicestobeusedsuchasanaloguetelephonelinesISDNBRI,ISDNPRIandVoIP.The

individual networks' properties are not separated but integrated into one compact

system.

Thesystem'scallcapacitycorrespondstotheneedsoflargecompaniesandoperators.

Transferbetween various networksisgoverned by dynamicleast cost routing (LCR),

whichselectsthecheapest and bestroutefor makinga call tothenumberrequired.

Thanksto the wellthoughtoutLCR,inwhicheverysubscriberorindividualportcan

haveitsown routing table, itisnoproblemtocreatea virtualPBX or simply create

restrictionsforcertainsubscribergroupsorindividuals.

Theoptionsforthesubscriberterminalsandcommunicationsarenotdependentonthe

communications technology used. All extensions, from analogue phones to web

terminals have the Web Assistant available for simple user configuration of the

services. The Web Assistant combines web interfaces with voiced instructions and

guidestotheindividualservices. Itisequallyeasyto operatethesystemphonesby

usingthecontextmenu.Itispossibletodefineallofthephones'settingsbymeansof

theprofiles,whichcanbeeasilycreatedbytheuserorsystemadministratorbymeans

oftheguide.
